Services – Trauma-Informed Therapy, SSP & HeartMath® Coaching
Located in Washington, serving clients nationwide via Telehealth options.
TLOEP.US offers integrated, nervous-system-focused services for ABEs/ACEs survivors, BIPOC communities, neurodivergent clients, and seniors. Each service can stand alone or be combined into a customized plan that respects your story, culture, and lived experience.
Trauma-Informed Therapy & Resilience Coaching
This service provides a safe, structured space to process trauma, stress, and life transitions using a nervous-system-first lens. In technical terms, it draws from Polyvagal Theory, attachment-informed practice, somatic awareness, and evidence-informed trauma frameworks. In everyday terms, sessions help you understand why you feel stuck in fight, flight, or freeze—and practice small steps toward calm, safety, and connection.
Common goals:
- Reducing anxiety, shutdown, and emotional overwhelm
- Healing relationship and attachment patterns
- Integrating spiritual and cultural identity with mental health
- Building daily regulation skills
Learn Your Value™ – ABEs/ACEs Screen, Treat & Heal
Learn Your Value™ is a comprehensive ABEs/ACEs-focused assessment that looks at early experiences, current symptoms, health patterns, and nervous system states. From a clinical standpoint, it organizes your history into a clear, trauma-informed formulation; from a lay perspective, it answers the question: “Why am I like this—and what can I do about it?”
Output includes:
- A trauma-informed summary in plain language
- A layered plan for nervous-system regulation, lifestyle shifts, and support options
- Suggestions for therapy, HeartMath®, SSP, and other tools that fit your profile
HeartMath® HRV Coherence Coaching
This service uses HeartMath®-based tools inspired by the HeartMath Institute to help you track and improve heart-rate variability (HRV), a key sign of nervous system flexibility. Technically, HRV coherence is associated with better emotional regulation, resilience, and cognitive performance; practically, clients experience it as feeling more centered, steady, and able to recover from stress.
You learn:
- How stress shows up in HRV patterns
- Simple heart-focused breathing and coherence techniques
- How to use these skills during real-life triggers, meetings, or family conflicts
Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) – Polyvagal-Informed Listening Therapy
The Safe and Sound Protocol is a specialized, Polyvagal-informed listening program explained at whatisthessp.com. It uses acoustically filtered music to help your nervous system shift out of defense and into a sense of safety and connection. In technical language, SSP supports neural pathways involved in social engagement and regulation; in everyday language, it helps your body stop bracing for danger so you can feel more settled and open.
SSP may be especially supportive for:
- People who feel stuck in constant hypervigilance or shutdown
- Neurodivergent clients with sensory sensitivities
- Children and adults who “know” they are safe but do not feel safe
Community Education, Senior Housing & Professional Training
TLOEP.US offers community talks, webinars, and trainings for senior housing providers, clinics, schools, and organizations that want to become more trauma-informed and nervous-system-aware. These offerings bring together lived experience, clinical training, and neuroscience-based tools in accessible language.
Possible topics:
- ABEs/ACEs and nervous-system regulation
- BIPOC and neurodivergent trauma-informed care
- Polyvagal and SSP-informed approaches in senior housing
- HeartMath® and body-based tools for staff resilience
Frequently Asked Questions About Services
How do I choose between therapy, HeartMath®, and SSP?
During a brief consultation, your history, goals, and nervous system patterns are reviewed, and a recommendation is made for where to start. Many clients benefit from a combination—such as therapy plus HeartMath®, or SSP plus coaching—depending on their sensitivity and readiness.
Are these services appropriate for neurodivergent clients?
Yes. Services are designed to be neurodivergent-affirming and sensory-aware. That means clear structure, predictable sessions, flexible pacing, and options for camera-off, reduced stimulation, and simple language when needed.
Can seniors or people in senior housing work with TLOEP.US?
Yes. Seniors and their families can use Telehealth sessions to receive trauma-informed, nervous-system-focused support, especially when dealing with grief, chronic illness, isolation, or “mysterious” behavior changes. The focus is on nervous-system regulation, not blame.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
The primary focus is Telehealth to make access easier for people with transportation, mobility, or anxiety limits. If in-person or hybrid options are available in Washington, they can be discussed during the initial consultation.
How do I get started?
